Immaculata Catholic Church

Situated inside the campus of the University of San Diego in San Diego California, the Immaculata Catholic Church is probably one of the most picturesque Christian Churches you’ll ever see! Its Romanesque-Byzantine architecture is a centerpiece of the USD campus. The interior and the exterior are equally admirable. Inside, there are side chapels with Stations of the Cross above. It is a refuge for Italian immigrants for many years. The little Church is spectacular in and out making you feel you are in Europe. The art inside consists of remarkable murals on the walls and ceiling and statues that are just majestic. It also has stained glass windows depicting the mysteries of the Rosary. The liturgies are of deep reverence. Its Italian community is just vibrant. Lastly, don’t forget to visit their gift shop, which is among the best in San Diego, and buy religious items as souvenirs. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church

Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church is located in the middle of La Jolla, San Diego California. It was built in 1906. This Church has a simple yet elegant architecture which makes it minimalist and aesthetically pleasing. Above the main entrance, a glass wall mosaic representing the Virgin Mary flanked by two (2) angels will welcome you. Notable statues and paintings are everywhere. There are also stained glass windows. In addition, you can visit the Church with its 24-hour Adoration and 24-hour Chapel across the Main Church. Lovely music is also played during services.
